Surah Al Baqarah (2:213) – All people had the same origin, does the support Darwinism ?

(All) people are a single nation; so Allah raised prophets as bearers of good news and as warners, and He revealed with them the Book with truth, that it might judge between people in that in which they differed; and none but the very people who were given it differed about it after clear arguments had come to them, revolting among themselves; so Allah has guided by His will those who believe to the truth about which they differed and Allah guides whom He pleases to the right path

M Shakir's Quran Translation

All people were one nation: Does this support Darwinism?

Islam believes in the theory of creation and Darwinists believe in the Theory of Evolution. Some people use such verses in the holy Quran to make a false impression in our minds that Quran supports 'Darwinism'. So on the way I will be clarifying what these verses actually mean. Quran does not support Darwinism at all. Few points regarding Darwinism need to be clarified here as well:

  • Darwinism is not a fact. It is just a theory.
  • Many renowned scientists appose the theory of Darwin.
  • Darwinism is not compatible with few facts of established science.
  • The Darwinism theory cannot scientifically explain how life originated on Earth.
  • No scientific finding shows that the "evolutionary mechanism" proposed by the theory have any evolutionary power at all.
  • The fossil record provided proves the exact opposite of what the theory suggests.
  • Origination of a whole life from a non-living single atom whereas In a lecture at the Sorbonne in 1864, Pasteur said; "Never will the doctrine of spontaneous generation recover from the mortal blow struck by this simple experiment."

Today, many people are not even aware that they are in a position of accepting a body of fallacy as truth in the name of science, instead of believing in Allah. Those who do not find the sentence "Allah created you from nothing" scientific enough can believe that the first living being came into being by thunderbolts striking a "primordial soup" billions of years ago.

Detailed discussions on Darwinism and Quran under Surah Aal e Imran (3:59)

In this Ayat What ALLAH means by saying Mankind was one single nation. Firstly, the Quran uses the world أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً which means one single nation or one community (not one organism). Muslims believe that Hazrat Adam was the first man on the face of the earth and her wife eve was the first woman. Their children were a one single nation, no difference of any sort, same religion, same beliefs, same caste etc. That was the time when humanity was one single nation. After that when the people spread, the teaching of Hazrat Adam weakened and people adopted different beliefs and the uniqueness of one unity vanished and then Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth. In this ayat ALLAH stresses on the point that when in the beginning all of you were one nation, had common belief, one GOD then why the differences now. Islam believes in universal brotherhood and this verse is an excellent example of that.

"Mankind was one single nation."

Ok, let's say the first people of this single nation were all black. And Darwinism (=evolution) doesn't exist - where do white people come from?

Or let's say the first people were all white. Then where do black people come from?

And all the other races...?!

Please don't use any arabic in your reply as I can't read it and google translation isn't all that reliable. Thank you.

From Adam and eve.. The two earliest birth comes a 1st a white man and a black man.. Twin...The second birth comes a white women and a black women twin..its mentioned in Quran that the black man shalt marry the white women and vice verse...but the white man wanted to marry the white women.. So the first killing in human history happened..the white man killed the black man...but how the black man exists.. Most probably after next birth its so happened..
